Did you know that, in the United States?
- Suicide is the second leading cause of death among 25-34 year olds.
- Suicide is the third leading cause of death among 15- to 24-years-olds.
- Suicide is the fourth leading cause of death for adults between the ages of 18 and 65.
- Suicide is the fifth leading cause of death among children who are 5-14 years old.
- More people die by suicide each year than by homicide; and Over 1,000 people die by suicide in Illinois every year?
When suicidal behaviors are detected early, lives can be saved. If you or someone you know is thinking of suicide call the Ben Gordon Center Response Line at 1-866-BGC-0111 and talk to a mental health professional right now or walk in during regular business hours or call 911.

Drive-thru dinner raises over $1600 for mental health and substance abuse services in our community.
